Did you enjoy the Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness story trailer? It may have been a ‘story’ trailer, but we can’t say that we learned altogether very much about the plot of the game, other than the protagonists are trying to keep a little girl away from the obvious antagonists, because reasons. Oh, and it appears to be channelling Stargate, which is fine by us (the Richard Dean Anderson or Kurt Russell variety – it doesn’t matter, they’re both great).
Square Enix have also released some character introduction trailers, firstly for protagonist Fidel:
And for his friend and companion (and possibly girlfriend?) Miki:
Who has a particularly memorable catchphrase, “May the resplendent warrior maiden, forged in light and flame, bring tranquillity to our brethren in battle.” It just rolls off the tongue, doesn’t it? You just know all the kids are going to be saying that one later in the year.
