This PSN Flash Sale is just for North American PlayStation players, to celebrate the kick-off of PAX West.
You know how some businesses always have sales? You see things listed with huge discounts, but you very much doubt they were ever on sale at full price. Maybe they’re even claiming all stock must go, or they’re going out of business. Basically, there’s almost always a sale, because reasons, is the takeaway item here.
Well, today Sony have announced a new PSN Flash Sale with the flimsiest of reasons: the PAX West expo just opened!
It’s a whopping great sale, with 115 games in total receiving discounts, across four platforms. Yes, four platforms; the PSP even has a few games in this sale, believe it or not.
There are some really good things in the list, with some frankly amazing discounts. The picks of the litter have to be Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor – so you can play through the first game and get yourself a nemesis before Shadow of War launches in October – and the wonderfully quirky supernatural adventure, Oxenfree.
It’s also worth mentioning the X-Com games, Prison Architect, Thumper (with PSVR support) and Serial Cleaner on PS4. PS3 highlights include getting all of the Borderlands games for under ten bucks, and some classic Final Fantasy games. There’s also a bunch of great stuff for the PS Vita and PSP, if you’re still playing either of those.
