The world's most famous cricket tournament is coming to console and PC next month. Melbourne-based developer Big Ant Studios has confirmed that\u00a0Ashes Cricket will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 16, 2017. Using the studio's proprietary photogrammetry technology, the game will include photo-realistic representations of the English and Australian teams for both the men\u2019s and women\u2019s squads. Ashes Cricket will also featured licensed 3D models of each Australian cricket stadium used in the forthcoming Magellan Ashes Series. Ross Symons, chief executive officer at Big Ant Studios, said in a press statement: \u201cWe can\u2019t wait for fans to get their hands on the game.\u00a0We wanted this game to build on the years of experience that we\u2019ve had in developing cricket games, and we\u2019re thrilled with the results. Playing this game really does feel like being out there on one of Australia\u2019s iconic cricket grounds.\u201d According to Symons, the game builds upon their previous\u00a0Don Bradman Cricket, and Big Bash cricket games. \u201cWe\u2019ve taken fan feedback to heart and have brought innovations to the game that have resulted in a smoother and more comprehensive game of cricket.\u201d Ashes Cricket also will include a new\u00a0career mode, in which players can create their own cricket star and play through the ranks before representing their home nation at the Ashes.\u00a0Here's a selection of screenshots from the game.
