A new update for the marvellous\u00a0Killer Queen Black adds eight-player local co-op on one machine, plus a host of other tweaks and gameplay improvements. The Hydra update \u2013 also know as Patch 1.60 \u2013 is available now on Nintendo Switch and PC. In addition to improved local play, it also adds bots for local and custom matches, team shuffling, region selection on Switch, and various other bug fixes. A new Streamer Mode also lets players choose which names to display in-game and in menus. Considerate. We like it. Speaking about the Hydra update, Matt Tesch, co-founder of publisher Liquid Bit says: "Our community has been behind us the whole way and we are happily providing the most requested additions. Players can now host the ultimate Killer Queen Black tournaments and bring the full experience of the arcade home.\u201d Liquid Bit will continue to update the game throughout 2020 and have released an updated roadmap that promises new cosmetics and maps. Killer Queen Black is available now on the Nintendo eShop, Steam, the Humble Store, and Discord.
