"...Includes scalable motion blur settings..." – Hallelujah! Final Fantasy Type-0 HD was notable for two reasons when it released on PS4 earlier in the year: \tFirstly, it was the full-price game that people got for free with their Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae playable demo. \tSecondly, it suffered from more nauseating motion blur than a Formula 1 driver on acid. Other than that, it was a fairly solid Final Fantasy title. Final Fantasy Type-0 HD probably didn't get the credit it deserved, because most people were literally just buying it for the Final Fantasy XV demo. Oh well. Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is back, and it's coming to PC. Here's what Square Enix had to say about the tweaks and new features that are making their way into the PC port: FINAL FANTASY TYPE-0 HD for Steam® will bring a selection of updated features including an improved in-game battle camera, full Steam achievements and trading cards, scalable motion blur settings and a customizable dynamic screen shot mode. The PC release will also offer full controller support, and for high end PCs - upgraded graphics resolution options. Other additions include increased blood levels and new character speed boosts. Did they say... "scalable motion blur"...? And by "scalable" we're presuming they mean you can turn turn the bloody awful feature off altogether, and actually hold onto your lunch while playing...? Thank Odin for that! So that's issue number 2 fixed, and issue number 1 – being overlooked for the Final Fantasy XV demo that was bundled with it – is sorted too, in a fashion. Final Fantasy Type-0 HD won't be overlooked because the PC version doesn't come with the Final Fantasy XV demo. At all. With one hand Square Enix giveth, and with the other, they taketh away, but there's more – they have teamed up with Valve to offer a Chocobo and Moogle as bonus characters in DOTA 2 for anyone who pre-orders before the August 18 release.
