Feral Interactive have announced that F1 2016 will be released on\u00a0Mac\u00a0this week. What difference does a year make?\u00a0Last year's official F1 2016 video\u00a0game \u2013 originally developed by\u00a0Codemasters \u2013 will be released for\u00a0Apple Mac computers on Thursday April 6, 2017. The port comes courtesy of Mac and Linux specialists, Feral Interactive. The Mac edition of F1 2016\u00a0is powered by Apple\u2019s new graphics API, Metal. The game features\u00a0a full, 10 season career mode, plus every driver, team and circuit from the FIA Formula One World Championship.\u00a0The game also includes cross-platform multiplayer for Mac and Windows, and supports up to\u00a021 players\u00a0on each\u00a0of the\u00a0game's 21 official Grand Prix circuits. David Stephen, managing director of Feral Interactive, said in a press release: \u201cIt\u2019s been three years since a new F1 game graced the Mac and a lot has happened since then!
