Ukie's annual Student Game Jam returns next week as part of the London Games Festival. Now in its third year, the Student Game Jam will see 20 teams from Ukie\u2019s Student Membership compete to win the Student Game Jam trophy. The jam takes place on 4-5 April and will form part of this year's revamped London Games Festival. In addition,\u00a0Games London and Square Enix Collective have been announced as sponsors for the event. The Game Jam will see\u00a0teams from the following institutions take part: \tBrunel University \tUniversity of Chester \tUniversity of Central Lancashire \tUniversity of East London \tGoldsmiths University \tLondon South Bank University \tNescot College \tNational Film and Television School \tNorwich University of the Arts \tSolihull College \tWest College Scotland \tWestminster University Each team will be mentored by\u00a0a games industry professional throughout the 36-hour marathon, offering advice to the teams as they work. Mentors have been recruited from some\u00a0of the biggest names in the industry, including:\u00a0Creative Assembly,\u00a0Marmalade, Ripstone, Sony, TT Games and Unity, to name a few. The games produced during the jam will be judged by a panel of experts, including NextGen Skills Academy\u2019s Managing Director, Gina Jackson, games accessibility specialist Ian Hamilton, and Ukie CEO Dr Jo Twist, who said: \u201cSupporting the next generation of games talent is hugely important to securing the sector\u2019s future creative pipeline.
