Capcom to release HD remasters of six classic NES games in\u00a0The Disney Afternoon Collection. The new compilation\u00a0brings together high-definition\u00a0remasters of six popular NES games that were based on Disney\u2019s TV\u00a0animations of the \u201880s and \u201890s. Games include Darkwing Duck, TaleSpin, DuckTales and Chip \u2019n Dale: Rescue Rangers. As well as an\u00a0improved 1080p\u00a0resolution,\u00a0each title will also have a range of\u00a0screen filters that will replicate the \u2018classic look and feel\u2019 of the era\u2019s CRT televisions. That will be fun to play with for ten minutes. The Disney Afternoon Collection \tChip \u2018n Dale Rescue Rangers \tChip \u2018n Dale Rescue Rangers 2 \tDarkwing Duck \tDuckTales \tDuckTales 2 \tTaleSpin Capcom are also adding new gameplay features, with Boss Rush and Time Attack modes being developed for each title.\u00a0Boss Rush mode does as you'd expect\u00a0and challenges\u00a0players with\u00a0onslaught of consecutive boss encounters.\u00a0Time Attack mode\u00a0focuses on\u00a0encouraging fast, time-based level completion and will be supported by online leaderboards. Aficionados of classic NES games will know that many titles of the era are rock hard by today's\u00a0standards. To accommodate\u00a0newcomers a \u2018Rewind\u2019 feature is also being\u00a0added that \u2018does a Sands of Time\u2019\u00a0and provides swift resurrection\u00a0from any\u00a0perilous missteps. To acknowledge the nostalgic importance these games hold for Nintendo and Disney fans, an in-game museum will also collate a wealth of\u00a0concept art, advertisements, character art, and music. The only thing missing from the package is a release on a Nintendo console. The Disney Afternoon Collection will be available\u00a0as a digital download\u00a0on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. The game will hit digital stores\u00a0on April 18, priced \u00a315.99\/ \u20ac19.99\/ $19.99.
