Pok\u00e9mon Generations, new series of\u00a0animated shorts, begins this week on YouTube. The series\u00a0will launch on the official Pok\u00e9mon\u00a0YouTube channel\u00a0this Friday, 16 September, at 5pm BST.\u00a0Each episode\u00a0takes a look\u00a0back at each generation of the video game series, exploring the\u00a0stories,\u00a0characters and Pok\u00e9mon of each generation. A new trailer gives a sneak\u00a0peek of the 'excitement and adventure' in store. The series\u00a0will run for 18 episodes, with each running\u00a0between three and five minutes in length.\u00a0The first two parts launch this week\u00a0and subsequent episodes will be released every Friday\u00a0through to 23 December, 2016. To promote the series The\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Company has also released\u00a0several pieces of concept art, including designs\u00a0of N and Team Plasma Grunts from\u00a0Black\/White,\u00a0and Professor Sycamore from\u00a0X\/Y, as well as environmental art depicting the Kanto, Unova and Kalos regions.
