Payload Studios confirm that open-world adventure game, TerraTech, will leave Steam Early Access this Summer, and is also heading to consoles.

The full release of TerraTech will include a range of brand new features that developer Payload Studios has been working on since the game entered Early Access in 2014.

TerraTech is a futuristic sandbox in which players can design and build their own creations. You can than choose to explore – and try to survive – hostile alien worlds, or create and explore without the threat of enemies in Creative Mode.

The PC version of TerraTech will also receive a new multiplayer component on May 18, 2018, that includes free-for-all and team-deathmatch modes, with support for up to 16 players.

Payload Studios has nurtured a committed community of players over the past four years through regular game updates, entertaining Twitch streams, and open communication with the game’s player-base. Studio founder Russ Clarke said in a press statement:

“This summer’s multi-platform launch of TerraTech is a huge milestone for the game, and the team. It’s been a long road to this point, and we’ve been blown away by the support and enthusiasm of our wonderful community of players. Their dedication has contributed hugely to the quality and depth of experience which we are now tremendously excited to bring to a wider audience”

Payload say they will continue to support the game beyond launch with frequent updates and new features.
