The Elders Scrolls Online enters at 2 in UK video game charts

Bethesda’s The Elder Scrolls Online has entered the UK charts at Number 2, beaten by the perennial FIFA 14, which returns to the top spot.

Elder Scrolls Online

The Elder Scrolls Online is the only new entry in the chart. Elsewhere, TitanFall stays steady in the top three although it will be interesting to see what impact the Xbox 360 version has upon release this week.

Elsewhere Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare continues to do good business remaining at 11 and last week’s number one, inFAMOUS Second Son, falls to six.

It’s two weeks now since we gave seen Aliens: Colonial Marines in the top 20. Could its unfathomable popularity be on the wane?

We have a favour to ask

Thumbsticks has a couple of main aims. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
