Kao the Kangaroo and Pac-Man are among the lineup of new Nintendo Switch releases this week.
Kao the Kangaroo could be a perfect fit for Nintendo Switch. Nintendo’s platforms have always been the ideal home for mascot platformers, and the Aussie-themed game looks like the real deal. It incorporates all the right elements: colourful and diverse 3D environments, a wide variety of enemies and challenges, and all the running, jumping, and – in this case – punching you’d expect.
We’ll find out whether Kao the Kangaroo is as good as it looks on Friday. Other big characters hitting the Nintendo Switch are Touken Ranbu Warriors, Pac-Man Museum+, and My Little Pony: A Maretime Bay Adventure.
Unfortunately, Redout 2’s release date has slipped back a couple of weeks. It would have released on May 26, but will now release on June 16, instead. In the meantime you can enjoy crashing vehicles in Super Toy Cars Offroad and the appropriately-named Accident, both out this week.
In North America only, you can get your grubby mitts on The House of the Dead: Remake Limidead Edition, while the EU will receive Amazing Superhero Squad. And everyone gets Farm Tycoon. (We’re quite partial to farming sims at Thumbsticks.)
Keep an eye on this list as the Nintendo Switch releases often are updated at the last minute.
