Legendary game designer Warren Spector to keynote April’s East Coast Game Conference.

The dust has only just settled on this year’s cavalcade of games conferences but the PR machine is already revving up for a busy 2016.

The East Coast Game Conference has announced that legendary game designer Warren Spector will deliver a keynote at next April’s event.

Spector’s career spans three decades, with his work seen in games such as Deus Ex, Disney Epic Mickey and the Ultima series, among many others.

In 2012 Spector received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Game Developers Choice Awards and more recently took the position of Director of the Denius-Sams Gaming Academy at The University of Texas, Austin.

Held annually, the East Coast Game Conference offers game industry professionals a chance to share expertise, network and build careers. Unlike many industry-focused events ECGC is open to the public and provides a opportunity for  start-up developers to engage, connect and gain insight into the future of games.

The East Coast Game Conference will be held at the Raleigh Convention Center  April 19-21, 2016. Early bird registration is now open at the ECGC website.
