Competition to win Batman - The Telltale Series

How do we cure the January blues? It’s simple: we win The Batman.

Serialised games are a big thing now and it’s not just the point-and-click adventure games, with everything from the 2016 Hitman reboot – one of our biggest games of 2016 – to the Final Fantasy VII Remake switching to the dribbly, chunky formula. Lest we forget that the gang who brought it into the mainstream, Telltale Games, are still knocking out fantastic yarns, season after season, most recently with The Walking Dead – A New Frontier (but not Minecraft Story Mode – we thought that was terrible).

And what’s even better than the anticipation of the next episode in a killer series? Waiting until it’s all available then binging through it in one go.

With that in mind, we’ve got a copy of the complete first season of Batman – The Telltale Series to give away to one lucky reader, available as a PC Steam download only. Delve into the murky streets of Gotham City to uncover skeletons from the past, in the first game to realise that playing as Bruce Wayne is just as badass as the bits where you’re Batman.

As with any Telltale adventure, Batman – The Telltale Series is beautifully written and performed impeccably, and we’re excited for one of you to get the opportunity to experience it in full.

All you have to do to be in with a chance to win the complete first season of Batman – The Telltale Series is pop your email address into the form below – which will also subscribe you to our lovely newsletter – and click the link in the confirmation email. If you’re already a subscriber don’t worry: we enter all newsletter recipients into all our email contests as a matter of course. It’s just one of the perks, in addition to the awesome articles that go straight to your inbox.

We hate to ask, but...

Thumbsticks has a couple of goals. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough to meet those goals! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
