World of Tanks Blitz brings cross-platform tank battles to iOS, Android, Windows and Mac OS X.
World of Tanks Blitz will be available on Steam from 5pm today (09/11/16) and introduces cross-platform play across Windows PC, Mac OS X, plus Android and iOS smart devices.
Wargaming.net report that almost 200,000 players took part in the two Beta weekends prior to the game’s full Steam release. Their feedback proving invaluable in optimising the gameplay experience. To offset a little risk, perhaps, players have the option of choosing a single platform or a mixed-platform match before they start.
Andrey Ryabovol, World of Tanks Blitz Publishing Product Director, said:
“With the game already available on Windows, Google and Apple stores, Steam was a natural step. We want to give our players freedom when choosing where, when, and through which channels they want to play World of Tanks Blitz. We’d like to welcome our new players and encourage everyone to join in and have fun battling across iOS, Android, Mac OS X, and Windows devices.”
If you have a Wargaming.net ID you can get direct access to World of Tanks Blitz on any device and all in-game content, experience and credits will be saved to your account.
To mark the release four different Pioneer Packs are available to purchase. These include two unique tanks: the Panther 8.8, VK 45.03 and Großtraktor Krupp. The special Steam camouflage “Breakthrough” will also be available on all Blitz compatible devices from November 9-18.
