Ka-Boom! World of Tanks is heading to PlayStation 4.
Wargaming has announced that its wildly popular tank ’em up, World of Tanks is making its way to Sony’s PlayStation 4 console.
World of Tanks has over 150 million registered players across PC, Xbox and mobile around the globe, so a move the console with the largest install base was always a given.
The PS4 version will incorporate a range of platform specific features including Dual Shock 4 light bar, touchpad and speaker support, as well as Share Play and PVita Remote Play capabilities.
And, for a limited time, there are two new maps.
World of Tanks will be free to all PlayStation 4 owners and will not require PlayStation Plus membership.
Players who do have PS Plus membership, however, will gain access to a number of exclusive benefits and items, including a free premium tank with exclusive camouflage, three days of Premium Account time and special discounts on other purchases.
