2K Games has announced that Update 4 for WWE SuperCard – Season 3 is now available on iOS and Android.
Collectible card-battling games, eh. What would major IP holders do without them? It doesn’t matter what the franchise is, if it has more than a couple of dozen characters – and you want to make a few bucks on a mobile app – a collectible card game is the way to go.
WWE is an obvious choice of course, with a rich history of characters, moves and events that are ripe for the format. And to give the game its due, WWE SuperCard is not the most egregious example of the genre by a some distance. (That award goes to Baywatch Beach Hut Battler.)
2K has today released Update 4 for WWE SuperCard – Season 3. The update includes dozens of new cards, including a nostalgia-fuelled Hall of Fame pack that features the likes of Ultimate Warrior, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, “Macho Man” Randy Savage, and Ric Flair. Also included are seven new Throwback cards, and seven new Fusion cards in the WrestleMania 33 tier.
The update also makes changes to the achievement model – which is now tied into the Ladder system – and adds new Attitudes, and a new credits pack. You can get full details on the game’s official website.
