Xbox One sale

Microsoft discounts over 270 Xbox 360 titles in a giant, one-week Xbox One backwards compatibility sale.

Video game sales are so frequent these days that we usually roll our eyes when we get word of another PlayStation Store or Xbox One Game Store promotion. But once in a while a sale comes along that really does get our attention, and this week’s Xbox One Back-Compat Super Sale is one such event.

The sale includes a huge range of games from the last generation, some getting discounts of up to 90% , although the most interesting games are in the 67-75% discount range. There are plenty of titles that you will have played or owned before, but if you’re the guy who has never experienced The Orange Box, you owe it to yourself to spend a mere $4.99 and put that right. The promotion runs through to May 22, 2017

We have a favour to ask

Thumbsticks has a couple of main aims. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
