Here’s your round-up of games coming to the Xbox One between 14th – 18th November, 2016.
There’s a slightly busier week ahead on the Xbox One with some blockbuster titles coming from Ubisoft and a smattering of interesting indie releases to savour.
The big games of the week are the one-two punch of open-world goodness from Ubisoft. Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection is an polished compilation of three of the best titles in the series; Assassin’s Creed 2, Brotherhood and Revelations. Hopefully Watch Dogs 2 – also released on Tuesday – follows the pattern of that franchise and improves on the dour first game of its own series. A few concerns aside, we’re hopeful.
On the indie front there are a couple of titles that stand out. First up is Wheels of Aurelia, a slight but utterly captivating narrative racing game set in the Italian ’70s. It’s joined by Mekazoo, a beautiful 2D platformer set in a vibrant 3D world. It has echoes of the recent Donkey Kong Country games from Retro Studios, which is no bad thing at all.
