Following on from what the publishers claim to be the largest beta ever (with Ubisoft’s crafty caveat that you only count new IP, and gloss over the fact Star Wars Battlefront’s was nearly fifty percent bigger) Tom Clancy’s The Division’s launch is nearly upon us.
We’re only a week until the world comes to an end, thanks to a virus that’s spread on bank notes for some reason – a scenario that might have been believable a few years ago, but in the days of contactless credit cards and mobile payments seems a little ludicrous – and Ubisoft have released a final launch trailer for The Division, to setup a bit of the story and show off some of the gameplay.
TL:DR; It’s basically a post-apocalyptic, New York-based version of Destiny, and it’s probably going to be quite popular.
