Nintendo 2DS Price Drop

Readers looking to buy a console for younger family members – or with a door that needs wedging open – might be interested in a new price drop for the Nintendo 2DS console.

The offer, which is available via the Official Nintendo UK store, sees discounts of between 24% -30% across various bundles.

Packs including Mario Kart 7, Tomodachi Life or Pokémon Alpha Sapphire/Omega Ruby are priced at a very reasonable £79.99, which effectively puts the price of the console at a mere £40.

We have a favour to ask

Thumbsticks has a couple of main aims. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
