Xbox One S release date

For the next seven days if you buy a new Xbox One or Xbox One S console bundle, you can get a game of your choice for free.

The promotion – which is direct from Microsoft – means you can get a console bundle and an extra game for an extremely reasonable $299.

The promotion covers both models of the Xbox One meaning that you can pick up the new Xbox One S, which features 4K Blu-ray and High Dynamic Range, or the original model, which is still available in packs including the Halo Collection, the LEGO Movie Video game bundle and the 1TB Triple Game bundle, to name three.

Participating retailers include Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, Walmart.com, and the Microsoft Store. At the time of writing each store seems to have its own range of bundles in stock, so we’d recommend shopping around to find the right mix.

The promotion runs until 1 October, 2016. Find out more on the Sales and Specials page at Xbox.com.
