Ever wondered what goes into the audio production of a modern video game?

To coincide with the release of Batman – The Telltale Series Episode 2: Children of Arkham, Telltale Games have put together a short behind-the-scenes featurette with the cast of their latest adventure.

Join voice actors Troy Baker (Batman/Bruce Wayne), Laura Bailey (Catwoman/Selina Kyle), and Travis Willingham (Harvey Dent) for a session in the recording booth. Marvel at the glamour of reading, talking, and wearing hats in a darkened, sound-proofed room. Be amazed as the cast of a Telltale game record lots of dialogue, including multiple-choice responses.

We kid, of course. It’s an interesting look into an area behind the velvet rope that we rarely get to see. It’s nice to see how the sausage gets made, if nothing else, and kudos for Telltale for sharing it.

It also gives us the opportunity for hilarious freeze-frames, like this one:

Yes, it’s just a man needing to sneeze and his colleague handing him a tissue, but in minute detail anything can be hilarious.

(Sorry, Troy, we think you’re great. Please don’t be mad at us.)

Batman – The Telltale Series Episode 2: Children of Arkham is out now. Pick up a retail disk from Amazon.
