Arceus Distribution
- To obtain Arceus you need a Pokémon Legends: Arceus save file on your Nintendo Switch, with all the main missions completed. Enter the Hall of Fame and obtain the National Pokédex, then return to your room and obtain the Azure Flute item. Proceed to the Spear Pillar at the top of Mount Coronet, and Arceus will reveal itself. Prepare for battle.
Darkrai Distribution
- To get Darkrai, you must obtain the Member Card item via the Mystery Gift menu. Enter the Sinnoh region’s Hall of Fame and obtain the National Pokédex. Then travel to Newmoon Island, where Darkrai can be found.
- Dates: Member Card item is available April 1-30, 2022.
Shaymin Distribution
- Code: Obtain by speaking to Professor Oak on Route 224.
- Dates: Available until March 27, 2022
Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup Statues

In-game Pokémon Bonuses

How to redeem Mystery Gifts in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl
Redeeming gifts in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl is easy. The Mystery Gift option will appear in the main menu around two hours into the game. Once it’s available, just follow these steps:
- Open the Main Menu
- Select ‘Mystery Gift’
- Select ‘Get Via Internet’ or ‘Get with Code/Password’
- If necessary, input the code to claim your free gift
- Make sure you save the game once your gift has been downloaded
