Here’s every game – including PS5, PS4, and a selection of PS3, PS1, and PSP classics – included in the revamped PlayStation Plus launch line-up.

With the revamped PlayStation Plus service – now combining the old PlayStation Now service and, together, slightly closer to Xbox Game Pass than their frankly rubbish predecessors – just around the corner, it’s about time Sony announced which games would be included.

Just around the corner, for context, is as follows:

Revamped PlayStation Plus global launch dates

  • Asia – May 24
  • Japan – June 2
  • North – June 13
  • South America – June 13
  • Europe – June 23
  • Australia and New Zealand – June 23

And with that initial launch just days away in some territories, the publisher and platform holderhas lifted the lid on which PS4 and PS5 games (and all the retro classics) that will be included with the various tiers.

Here’s the full list of PlayStation Plus games, as of May 16, 2022. (This is obviously subject to change.)

Each month, a refresh will take place to the PlayStation Plus Essential games, with new PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games being added to the service. (And, presumably, some being taken away. This is essentially in place of the free PS Plus games.)

Subscribers to the PlayStation Plus Extra, Premium, and Deluxe plans will also benefit from an additional monthly refresh, in the middle of each period. Sony says: “The number of games refreshed will vary per month”, though, which is worded deliberately vaguely to avoid that being too tying, presumably.

Be aware that streaming won’t be available in all locations, and will obviously be connection-dependent, too.

And in case you missed the pricing in the original story, here are the tiers for the revamped PlayStation Plus service.

    PlayStation Plus Essential

    • United States – $9.99 monthly / $24.99 quarterly / $59.99 yearly

Is it Game Pass yet? Nah, not really. But it’s a hell of a lot closer than the weak PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now offerings that it combines and replaces.
