This is an important public service announcement: You can now change your PSN online ID.
One of the PS4’s most-requested features is now live. Right now. This is not a drill, folks: PSN online ID changes are here!
Not every game supports it – only games released after April 2018 are guaranteed to work, and it won’t work on PS3 or Vita – and as a result, your mileage may vary (and you might even need to change your PSN name back if you run into bother) but that’s a small price to pay for destigmatising your online presence.
That’s it. That’s the news. You can now change your PSN online ID, from something that seemed cool at the time (but is now just painfully embarrassing) to something that is (hopefully) less embarrassing.
And because we’re good like that, here are some instructions on how you change your PSN online ID.
