The Witcher 3 Hearts of Stone DLC looks a bit piratey, savvy?

We’ve all heard the stories. The promise of great things from the first Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt story DLC. That it’s going to be like a ‘complete game in its own right’ and ‘bigger than Witcher 2′. Big talk from CD Projekt Red.

Well in a little over a month, we’ll get to put their claims to the test. The Witcher 3 Hearts of Stone DLC will be released on October 13, 2015 and here’s the teaser trailer.

It’s starts very… Pirates of the Caribbean, doesn’t it? We were half-expecting Johnny Depp to run past, all flailing legs and windmilling arms like Keef Richards on speed, proclaiming he had a jar of dirt, but no – Witcher 3 Hearts of Stone turns quite grim, quite quickly – it’s to be expected, really. That, and Geralt having his kit off. Obviously.

We can see how things turn out for Geralt in the Witcher 3 Hearts of Stone DLC on October 13.
