Alabama Shakes, The Pretty Reckless and Breaking Benjamin coming to Rock Band 4

Dark Light

Rock Band 4’s entry into the UK charts at number 10 has raised eyebrows in some corners but considering the franchise’s five year break – and questions over whether the genre could even be resuscitated – it seems like a pretty reasonable Stone Roses-like comeback to us.

Striking while the axe is hot Harmonix have announced four new DLC tracks from Alabama Shakes, Breaking Benjamin, Death From Above 1979 and The Pretty Reckless.

Alabama Shakes make their Rock Band debut with Don’t Wanna Fight from the band’s 2015 record, Sound & Color. Breaking Benjamin return to the series with their 2015 single, Failure. Death From Above 1979 contribute Trainwreck with Follow Me Down by The Pretty Reckless completing the line-up.

All tracks will be available for download on October 13 for $1.99 per track. Here’s a sneak preview:

In other Rock Band 4 news, pre-orders for the Pro-Cymbals Expansion Kit have now opened. The kit is ‘expected’ to ship this holiday season. (Harmonix’s words, not ours.)

The cross-platform compatible Pro-Cymbals Expansion Kit consists of realistic crash, ride and hi-hat cymbals. Once connected they unlock Rock Band 4‘s Pro Mode in the game, adding another layer to game’s ‘realism’. (Our words, not Harmonix’s.)
