The first episode of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s Fate of Atlantis DLC is free right now. (That is, unless, you believe that time is money.)
Beginning on Monday, Ubisoft began offering the first instalment of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s mythological expansion, Fields of Elysium, for free. The deal lasts until Sept. 1, and is available on PS4, Xbox One, Uplay and Steam.
It’s worth noting, though, that you’ll need to own the base game to play Fate of Atlantis. And you’ll need to pick up the Season Pass if you want to play the rest of this expansion.
Fortunately, until September 1, Ubisoft has you covered. The publisher is offering the Season Pass – which includes the full Fate of Atlantis arc, the full (less well-received) Legacy of the First Blade arc, and Assassin’s Creed III Remastered (which includes The Madness of King Washington DLC and Assassin’s Creed Liberation – for 50 percent off (which, in the States, is $19.99).
That’s a lot of content. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has been on sale quite a few times this summer, and the deals keep getting better. At this point, it’s less a question of money, and more a question of whether you have 100-plus hours going spare.
If the answer is yes, now seems like as good a time as ever to dive in.
