The latest content update for Battlefield V brings back some classic locations from the series’ past.
Battlefield V is getting two new maps, two new factions, new weapons and plenty more in its next free update.
Chapter 5: War in the Pacific leans into the franchise’s history with the Iwo Jima and Pacific Storm maps, each featuring land, sea and air combat. The new update also adds US and Japan factions, plus new weapons including the M1 Garand and M1919A6. Vehicles additions include the iconic M4 Sherman tank, the MB Jeep and the F4U Corsair plane.
Add in some new gadgets and chapter rewards – including weapons, soldier sets, weapon skins, and melee weapons – and you have another significant update for a game that has been well supported by Dice.
Chapter 5 will be released on October 31, 2019. It will be followed by a remake of the classic Wake Island map in December.

Battlefield V is also free to play from today until October 28 in the first of two free play events on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The new Pacific content will be included in a second free trial weekend, which runs from November 1-4, 2019.
