Dark Light

Check out the new gameplay video for Bee Simulator, the upcoming, erm, bee simulator from Varsav Game Studios and Bigben.

The cool thing about Bee Simulator is that unlike, say, Goat Simulator, it plays things relatively straight. Set in a vibrant environment inspired by New York’s Central Park, the game sees players assume the role of a pollinator bee trying to save its hive from the threat of some dastardly humans.

In addition to its single-player story, the game also features an exploration mode, and split-screen multiplayer with co-op and competitive gameplay. The studio is aiming for a family audience, so it also has an easy mode designed for younger players. Other pursuits include bee racing, and waggle dancing.

Bee Simulator also features a soundtrack from Mikołaj Stroiński, who has worked on games including The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and The Vanishing of Ethan Carter.

All in all, it looks rather fun. Take a look at the new co-op gameplay trailer.

Expect to hear more buzz about Bee Simulator as it nears release. It’s due on November 14 for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
