Funcom releases a new seasonal trailer and confirms a release date for Conan Chop Chop.
Conan will be chop chop chopping on February 25, 2020, publisher Funcom has announced. The four-player action game – which is developed by Australian studio Mighty Kingdom – is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Speaking about the game as it nears completion, Mighty Kingdom’s Philip Mayes says: “We have had so much fun developing this game, that I actually have mixed feelings about the end being nigh. An action-adventure rogue-lite party-game. Featuring Conan. I mean, what more can you ask for?”
Conan Chop Chop was announced on April 1 this year, fooling many, including, ahem, some of us at Thumbsticks office. It made another appearance at the PC Gaming Show during E3 2019, winning over the audience with its cheeky concept and comical multiplayer action.
The game can also be played in single-player, but Mayes says it’s an even better experience with friends. We look forward to finding out early next year. Now all we need are some friends.
