Asobo Studio revives Conker for new Microsoft HoloLens game. You’ll probably wish they hadn’t.
Indie developer Asobo Studio and Microsoft have partnered to bring two games to the HoloLens Development Edition. And they are, erm, interesting.
One title sees the return of Conker, star of the wonderful N64 classic Conker’s Bad Fur Day and its Xbox remake, Conker: Live and Reloaded.
In Young Conker everyone’s favourite squirrel runs around your living room – or any room – and jumps about a bit. If Conker encounters an edge, he’ll wobble, regain his balance, walk, and jump about some more.
Seeing is believing, right? Well here you go…

In Asobo’s other game, Fragments, you are tasked with solving a high-tech crime by sitting on a couch and speaking to a stiffly animated woman.

Poor Conker.
