It’s taken two and a half years, but Rising Star Games are finally bringing Cooking Mama: Sweet Shop to Europe and North America.
Never mind Breath of the Wild or Persona 5, this is the game we’ve really been waiting for.
Rising Star Games have today announced that Office Create’s Cooking Mama: Sweet Shop – the final game in the franchise’s 3DS trilogy – will be released digitally on May 25, 2017. A boxed, retail edition will be available in stores a day later.
Cooking Mama: Sweet Shop’s single player campaign will feature over 60 recipes sprinkled across 160 different mini-games. You can also look forward to four-player competitive cook-offs in local multiplayer
As with previous games in the series, mastery of the 3DS Stylus is essential to slice, bake and decorate your concoctions. We also understand that the much-loved ‘blow into the 3DS microphone’ feature will return, enabling you to cool down your sweet treats after cooking.
Lee Skittrell, marketing manager at Rising Star Games, said:
“We are thrilled to welcome Cooking Mama into our ever-growing portfolio of kids and family titles. Partnering with such an esteemed developer on such a cherished and established entertainment brand reinforces our commitment to entertain and delight gamers of all kinds.”
Mama was unavailable for comment.
Cooking Mama: Sweet Shop will be released on Nintendo 3DS in the US and Europe from May 25, 2017.
