Check out the new Cyberpunk 2077 music video from rap duo Run The Jewels.
CD Projekt Red and Run The Jewels (El-P and Killer Mike) have released a music video for the song No Save Point. The track is “inspired” by the studio’s upcoming RPG Cyberpunk 2077 and will also be featured in the game itself.
To crib from the press release, the video features “elements, imagery, and effects from the dark future world of Cyberpunk 2077.”
Take a look.
We assume “inspired” really means “paid for” by CD Projekt Red. On that basis, it’s a better effort than the last tie-in rap song we can remember, Eminem’s ghastly track for Venom.
Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t out yet, but don’t worry, everyone at CD Projekt Red is working really hard to make sure it arrives on December 10.
The long-awaited game will be released on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Google Stadia. It’s also playable on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. A full – and free – next-generation upgrade will follow next year.
We have a favour to ask
Thumbsticks has a couple of main aims. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
