Daedalic celebrates 15th birthday with 3 new games, massive publisher sale

Dark Light

Celebrate Daedalic Entertainment’s 15th birthday with up to 90% off games in its back catalogue, and 10% off some brand new releases.

Daedalic, the German indie developer and publisher that’s currently being bought by Nacon, has been around for 15 years. That’s a long time in this industry, and somewhat surprising that they’re only just now getting swallowed up by a larger parent entity.

To celebrate this milestone, Daedalic has released three new games. They are:

  • Godlike Burger – in which you play a travelling space chef hunting the galaxy for the best ingredients
  • Velone – a puzzle game based around automation, very much in the Opus Magnum mould, and
  • Warpips – a strategy game somewhere between Cannon Fodder and C&C (which you may think was already out, but it technically leaves early access today)

Additionally, Barotrauma, Fling to the Finish, and Hidden Deep will all receive new content for Daedalic’s birthday bash.

But there’s more. For the next few days – until April 25 at 10 am Pacific (11 am Eastern, 4 pm BST) – Daedalic is running a big publisher sale, on both the Steam store and the Nintendo eShop.

Highlights include 10% off new games Godlike Burger and Velone, 50% off Hidden Deep and Insurmountable, 55% off Fling to the Finish, 60% off Warpips, 75% off Barotrauma, 80% off Partisans 1941, and a whopping 90% off Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun.

(These discounts are based on the Steam storefront viewed from the UK. Different regions may have different discounts, and the same goes for the Nintendo eShop sale.)
