Disco Elysium – The Final Cut collector’s edition, from Iambit, will feature an art book (of course) and a weird vinyl statue.
Disco Elysium is, it’s fair to say, beloved. It’s one of those indie games – like Hades or Hollow Knight – that seems to have reached everyone’s radar, not just indie or genre aficionados.
And not without good reason. It’s a sublime slice of storytelling and a brilliant RPG by any measure, but its slanted implementation of traditional systems and openness to politics inherent in its setting (in games!) really set it apart.
Then Disco Elysium – The Final Cut came along with full voice-acting and a bunch of other goodies. The best got even better.
Now there’s a collector’s edition of Disco Elysium – The Final Cut, from specialist collectables publisher Iam8bit (in conjunction with developer Studio ZA/UM and distributor Skybound) for people who really like Disco Elysium, art books, and… weird vinyl statues?
The Disco Elysium – The Final Cut collector’s edition will feature the following:
- Innovative ‘Layers of the Id’ Premium Box
- Hand-Painted ‘Mind Totem’ Vinyl Sculpture
- 190+ Page Hardbound Art Book feat. Oodles of Previously Unreleased Art and Stories
- Illustrated Fabric Map of the District of Martinaise
- Physical Edition of Disco Elysium with Reversible Cover, Housed in an Elegant Slipcase
- Region Free – Worldwide Compatibility
(Their wording, not ours.)
Disco Elysium – The Final Cut collector’s edition is priced at $249.99 and will be available on PS5. You can pre-order it now, and you can be very sure it’s limited in number.
Who wants that ugly sculpture on their mantel, though?
