The news came via an open letter, from FIFA Manager founder and designer Gerald Köhler, published on game’s blog.
In the blog Köhler lays the blame at the door of mobile and online games, the title’s niche geographical reach, and the one game that “has practically dominated the market in recent years.” One can assume that title is Sports Interactive’s Football Manager.
The last game in the series, FIFA Manager 14 was released last month.
