If following trade routes though the inky blackness of space is a little to pedestrian for you, Elite Dangerous: Arena is here to help.
Elite Dangerous’ dedicated PVP space combat mode is now available on Xbox One, bringing close quarters combat to the console version of the game for the first time.
The add-on includes four combat-optimised ships to choose from, plus four arenas: Elevate’s towering view, Cluster Compound’s mining facility, Asteria Point’s space station and Ice Field’s frozen asteroid belt.
All eight of the game modes from the PC edition are also available including Free for all, Team Death-match and, of course, Capture the Flag. Also on sale are hundreds of paint jobs and a range of Bobbleheads that can be used to decorate your ship.
Elite Dangerous: Arena is available for for Xbox One priced £4.79 ($7.49, €6.49). The full game is available now for £29.99 ($37.49, €37.49).
