Farming Simulator 18 is confirmed for the Summer season on PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS.

The Farming Simulator series shows no signs of having a fallow period, with Giants Software confirming the news that Farming Simulator 18 is coming to dedicated handheld consoles this Summer.

The game will be released on both Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita this June. It will be available at retail, and digitally via the Nintendo eShop and PlayStation Store.

Set in a new Southern US environment, the game features a host of classic crops such as wheat, canola, corn, sugar beet, potatoes and, making its debut, sunflowers. Along with animal husbandry and forestry – which is a 3DS exclusive feature – the game appears to retain all of the key components and gameplay features that have made the franchise a success on PC and console.

The handheld editions of Farming Simulator 18 will also feature a new range of new vehicles, including AGCO’s Challenger, Fendt, Massey Ferguson and Valtra brands.

Here are some new screenshots to whet your appetite.

Farming Simulator 18 will be released on PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS in June, 2017.
