Giants Software’s Farming Simulator is confirmed for release on Nintendo Switch in November.

The Nintendo Switch may not be getting the big AAA third-party releases – for obvious reasons – but the console is quietly building a solid library of mid-tier games to complement its strong first-party lineup, and growing roster of indies.

You can now add Giants Software’s popular farming simulation to that mix. Following on from the release of Farming Simulator 17 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and 3DS, the game will come to Nintendo’s new hybrid console in November under the name of Farming Simulator –  Nintendo Switch Edition.

In the game’s reveal trailer, Martin Rabl from Giants Software demonstrates both TV and handheld modes.

As far as we can determine, Farming Simulator –  Nintendo Switch Edition is feature-complete and different in name only, presumably because 2018 is just around the corner,

As with the other versions of the game, the Switch edition will feature over 250 officially licensed farming vehicles, and equipment from over 75 manufacturers. Famous brands include Challenger, Fendt, Massey Ferguson and Valtra.

The game will also include this friendly cast of characters.
