FIFA 20 holds on to No.1 for a second week in the UK video games chart from Ukie and GFK.
FIFA 20 continues what is likely to be a long domination of the UK video game charts with a second week at No.1. Its strong performance holds off Ubisoft’s new open-world shooter, Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Nintendo’s charming remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening drops from second spot to No. 5.
Despite the continued controversy and muted critical reception surrounding Borderlands 3, the game continues its good run with another week at No.3. The impressive sales of Gears 5 also continue – bear in mind it’s also available through Xbox Game Pass – with a second week at No.4.
We’re also pleased to see the remaster of Ghostbusters: The Videogame doing well, entering the top ten at No.6.
Elsewhere in the top forty, Code Vein tumbles down the chart from No.13 to No. 36 and there are reentries for PlayStation 4 exclusives God of War and Days Gone.
You can see the full top forty video game chart for the week ending October 5 on the Ukie website.
