Hellblade II: Senua’s Saga coming to Xbox Series X at launch.
Senua’s Saga is the sequel to Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, an impressive AA effort from Ninja Theory, that was released to critical acclaim in 2017.
Last year, Microsoft acquired Ninja Theory. And, at E3 this year, the companies unveiled Bleeding Edge, a multiplayer-only action game. Nervous single-player fans can rest at ease: if the intense trailer for Hellblade II: Senua’s Saga is any indication, it looks like Ninja Theory is still going to keep making powerful single-player games.
Senua’s Sacrifice was already an impressive looking game, even with a modest budget and team size. With the increased resources that Microsoft can provide, Senua’s Saga may be a serious God of War-style exclusive for the next Xbox.
