Horizon Zero Dawn - PlayStation 4 bundle

Sony announces a new PlayStation 4 bundle for Europe that includes Horizon Zero Dawn.

The bundle includes a copy of Horizon Zero Dawn, the new open-world adventure from Guerrilla Games, and a three-month subscription to PlayStation Plus.

The included console will be the new, black slim-line version with a 1TB hard-drive. It’s accompanied by its trusty friend, the revised edition of the DualShock 4 controller. And best of all, the bundled copy of Horizon Zero Dawn will be on Blu-Ray disc. This will reduce the time from plugging the console in to playing the game by a few hours, at least.

Our hopes are high for Guerrilla’s new game. It impressed us at last year’s E3 and the studio seems re-energized, having escaped the clutches of the dreary Killzone franchise.

The three-month subscription to Playstation Plus includes two PlayStation 4 games to download each month, 10GB of cloud storage, and access to exclusive discounts on the PlayStation Store. The free games are only playable while your subscription is active.

Apart from that, it’s a fairly standard bundle. It’s a shame there wasn’t a special edition of the console with a sprout of Aloy’s hair stick to the top or something.

The Horizon Zero Dawn PlayStation 4 bundle will be released across Europe on March 1, 2017.
