Dark Light

The Xbox – with a few notable exceptions – has ceded the crown of indie champion to PlayStation 4. It’s a far cry from the days when Microsoft’s console was synonymous with being the home of indie console games through the excellent work of XBLIG and Xbox Live Arcade.

Perhaps recognising this, the first ID@Xbox Game Fest has been announced and will run throughout May. The campaign focuses the spotlight on the Xbox One’s range of indie titles and also serves as a reminder of the system’s credentials with independent developers, in particular with the games that have come through the ID@Xbox programme.

It’s a bit like Summer of Arcade, then, just with games that are mostly out already.

Each week will feature a themed selection of titles, along with ‘additional creator spotlight content’ and price discounts.  Titles announced so far are listed below and more are promised.
