The LawBreakers Open Beta event is now open to all players.

One of the quiet success stories at this year’s E3 was the massively popular booth for Lawbreakers. Boss Key’s game might not have the marketing wallop of Destiny 2 or Blizzard’s Overwatch, but it was clear that attendees were digging the game’s heady mix of shooting and leaping. The good news for those that missed out is that the game’s first open beta event starts today, and is open to all players.

Key-holding beta participants received access earlier this week, but from 9am PT today the PC beta opens up to all players via Steam. The event runs through to 9am on Wednesday July 5th, 2017.

The open beta includes the new Vertigo map, which is located in the Sierra Nevada mountain range, and the new capture-and-protect mode, Uplink. Participants can also test the new Weapon Stickers customisation feature, and earn a special Beta participant sticker by competing in five matches during the event.

LawBreakers is due to launch on PlayStation 4 and Steam on August 8th 2017. The Core Edition is priced at $29.99 and the Deadzo Deluxe Edition at $39.99. As revealed last month, all future, non-cosmetic content updates are included with these editions of the game.
