Nu metal pioneers Linkin Park join virtual reality rhythm game Beat Saber.
You remember Linkin Park, right? They were big in the early aughts, with hits like Crawling, In the End, One Step Closer and, of course, Numb. Yes, the decent famous nu metal band, not the terrible one you might be thinking of. (That’s Limp Bizkit. They’re the worst.)
Linkin Park may no longer be creating new music following the sad death of vocalist Chester Bennington in 2017, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t still plenty to enjoy in the band’s back catalogue. Beat Saber developer Beat Games would tend to agree.
Available now on PS VR, Steam and the Oculus Store, you can now pick up the Linkin Park music pack, which brings 11 Linkin Park songs to Beat Saber, the virtual reality rhythm game with lightsaber-smashing action.
