2K have announced that Mafia III, the highly anticipated new title from Hangar 13 will be released on October 7th, 2016.
A new trailer has also been released – titled One Way Road – which shows protagonist Lincoln Clay on his path to building a new family after his surrogate family, the black mob, is betrayed and wiped out by the Italian Mafia.

We have high hopes for this one. Mafia II was an underatted gem last generation, often overlooked while all eyes were on the likes of Grand Theft Auto 4 and 5 and Red Dead Redemption.
If Hangar 13 can continue the work of 2K Czech by combining a strong story with attention to period detail – as the trailer and these screen shots suggest – then this could be a real highlight.
