Dark Light

Metroid and Fire Emblem feature in the latest batch of My Nintendo rewards.

Nintendo has released some new My Nintendo discounts and 3DS themes to kick off the new year. In Europe, the lineup is bolstered by savings on Retro’s excellent Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D and the barmy but fun action puzzle game, Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido.

In North America, there is a lovely 3DS theme to pickup based on Nintendo’s history as a Hanafuda card manufacturer. There are also reasonable discounts on Fire Emblem Fates: ConquestDragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King, and Metroid: Samus Returns. The classic SNES RPG Earthbound is also recommended.

As ever there are no Nintendo Switch games to be found, Hopefully, 2020 will be the year Nintendo rolls its blockbuster console into its rewards programme. Here’s the full round-up of January’s new My Nintendo additions.
