With just under three months to go until Doom returns (or begins again) we are starting to get a little hyped.
Developed by id software, Doom returns as a brutal FPS experience in which you get to smother relentless demon hordes with little bullet kisses.
Featuring a single-player campaign – as well as numerous multiplayer modes – expectations are high for the return of the series that did much to invent the modern shooter.
The game also comes with Doom SnapMap, a game and level editor that allows players to snap together and customise maps, add pre-defined and custom gameplay, and edit game logic to create new modes.
It sounds a bit like a Super Doom Maker.
However the game turns out, it’s certainly looking the part. Here are four new screens to feast on.
